Resiko Paparan Medan Elektromagnetik Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) Terhadap Kelainan Otak

Paparan (radiasi) medan elektromagnetik Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) dicurigai berpengaruh terhadap kelainan otak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efek paparan (radiasi) medan elektromagnetik ELF pada kelainan otak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode article review dengan jumlah artikel 20 artikel hasil penelitian yang relevan mulai dari tahun 2000 sampai 2022. Pada kelainan otak manusia, pengukuran selama 30-60 menit dalam intensitas 50 Hz tidak memiliki pengaruh pada pensinyalan kerusakan DNA. Sedangkan pada penelitian kelainan otak mencit dilakukan pada intensitas 150 T, 300 T, 450 T .Paparan medan ELF berpengaruh pada kelainan otak mencit (tikus putih) pada intensitas radiasi ELF sebesar 150 T, 300 T, 450 T yang ditnadai dengan adanya penurunan fungsi otak. Sedangkan dalam intensitas yang rendah seperti 50 Hz/ 100 T tidak berpengaruh pada perilaku tikus jantan dewasa.Sedangkan paparan radiasi EM-ELF tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada intensitas 50 Hz, 900 MHz, dan 1800 MHz terhadap munculnya kelainan otak pada manusia.
